Holland team's coach Marco van Basten has encouraged Ruud to leave Manchester United for AC Milan after the World Cup.

The Dutch coach believes Ruud should head to the Italian giant in a bid to revive his career.

Ruud has fell out with Sir Alex Ferguson and looks likely to leave Old Trafford after the World Cup.

AC Milan is reported to be lining up a bid for Ruud.
