Ruud van Nistelrooy said that he will be discussing his future with Manchester United after Holland crashed out of the World Cup.

"I must get away from the World Cup and deal with it, then I will think about my future," Van Nistelrooy told the official Manchester United Web site.

"Maybe in this coming week we have to see what United do and if there are a lot of teams getting involved."

"Whatever happens will happen," he said. "I have to assess that and see what is best for me. There must be some kind of contact between the club and myself. If nothing happens I'll be at United next season."
