Injury rules Ruud out of Recreativo clash

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been ruled out of Real Madrid's Spanish League away match against Recreativo tomorrow due to an ankle injury, the club said on their Internet site. 

The 31-year-old is the defending champions' top scorer in the league with 12 goals but he has not scored since Jan 20. 

Real coach Bernd Schuster however will be able to count on Brazilian duo Pepe and Robinho who returned to training on Wednesday after being away due to injury. 

Pepe has not played since Jan 20 because of a problem in his right foot while Robinho has been off the pitch since Feb 10 with a muscle problem.
