The first few times I've met him was when he was playing for PSV, and it's very easy to meet players over there. Ruud was kind that time and he still is, as you all know!!

I was very sad when he was leaving PSV, because I couldn't see him that much anymore. But at the other hand.I was very happy for him of course, he was going to play for the biggest club in the world!!

Every time when he was back in Holland for a game with the Holland team I tried to meet him, and most of the times that worked.

Summer of 2004 I've been to Manchester to see him play in Old Trafford, amazing experience to go there!! Most beautiful stadium ever!

I was in the village where he got married, so I could see the lovely, beautiful couple! Because they did look so happy and gorgeous!!

I also have been to his house in Heesch, Holland, where he stays when he is back in Holland. He still is so kind to take time for me and other fans of course!

The last time I've met him was 1 st of June this year. He was training with the Holland team, and I got him a present which I wanted to give him personally. It was a bear from "Me To You" with a red football kit on and he had a football in his arms. On the Shirt was standing: No.1. And I putted a picture of me and Ruud with it and I wrote a message for him:

"After almost 7 years you are still my number 1!" Ruud was very happy with it and he thanked me by giving me 3 kisses on the cheeks! That was about the best meeting ever! (not trying to make you all jealous ;) )

The next time I will see him play and hope to meet him will be the 7th of September when he is playing with the Holland Team in Eindhoven against Andorra.
